“We feel it’s so critical that senior living communities be much more cognizant of what’s available with regards to their digital marketing efforts,” added Ehlers. “There simply are too many cookie-cutter websites that simply lack the elements to appeal to the growing number of consumers who turn first to the internet to start their research for a senior living community.”
Internet, when coupled with direct mail and educational and special events, are still considered the most effective ways of marketing senior living communities. This is borne out by the study for ASHA.
