The Ehlers Group was engaged to offer marketing expertise to the developer in planning the company’s active adult community in Longview, Washington.Planned for 40 attached condominiums and 16 single-family homes, the gated community offered a unique opportunity for consumers desiring easy-living features, a clubhouse and exterior maintenance not previously available in the area.
Initial TEG responsibilities included site review and critique as to the desirability of the location by active adults and review of area competition. Meetings with key city representatives (Chamber, Economic Development, city officials, realtors, and Agencies for Aging) were conducted to discuss the viability of the community and growth factors of the Longview-Kelso area. A marketing timetable was created for the community’s launch and strategies to introduce the community with collateral, advertising and models were developed.
Subsequent consulting has involved sales strategies for the final phase of the community, review of options and upgrade selection program, creation of resident referral programs, and sales training.
TEG is also assisting in strategizing a new Wood & Wood Development community – Village Pointe.
