1930s Hats on Display

Tapping into residents’ former careers and current hobbies is a great way to begin brainstorming potential media-worthy events. For example, our client, The Carlisle Naples, invited a resident to show off her personal collection of hats designed by her famous aunt, New York milliner Josephine Tripoli.

We developed a media advisory highlighting the pieces on display, including a replica of a hat made for former First Lady Barbara Bush and the first hat worn by American Airlines female pilots.

The local FOX affiliate loved the story and sent a reporter to cover the event. The client was thrilled to receive such fantastic coverage!
