The media loves stories of older adults volunteering or giving back, especially to the younger generation. Residents at our client’s assisted living community have been creating artwork and selling them to raise money for back-to-school supplies for underserved children in the area. The event culminated with a back-to-school jam, where the students could meet their “surrogate” grandparents.
